Epping and Ongar Gala 2016

I would like to start with a massive thanks, again, to the EOR for having us back for their steam gala weekend. The Claud team thoroughly enjoyed the event, it was great meeting up with all the other new-builds and talking to the public. We have come away with many ideas on how we can progress the project and gain support. So watch this space!

New year New drawings

Welcome to 2016 Claud fans.

We start off this year with some progress in CAD work. The CAD work shown below, which are in the first stages of modelling are: 3 different types of lamp brackets, the large 7 foot driving wheels and the Con rod. We hope to continue on with the smaller parts while the work on the frames and larger components are completed in the background.

Fund our frames!

You may have seen that we have been slowly pushing out our first fund raising initiative.
The front buffer beam will be the first part to be built. Now we know the exact amount we need to raise.

£1300 will be needed to completely construct and deliver the beam to Whitwell and Reepham Railway. It will be constructed in Norfolk by a company in Thetford.

After attending the NNR Spring Gala, we are well on our way to this first target but we need your help in raising the rest.

NNR March Gala Stand

We are back from our first official stand at the NNR Gala. Thanks to everyone that came to see us and donated. We are well on our way to funding the front buffer beam.
We hope to be at more events this year so we can get the buffer beam constructed.
