Dear All Claud Followers,

We are pleased to show you yet another part of 8783 you can get, much like the painting by Eddy Dodwell this will be available next year.

We are very happy with the final results. A massive thank you to Tom C as this was a commissioned drawing. Which he is donating to the cause for the use of posters, cards and other items. The drawing is a side profile of 8783 in the livery and design which we will be building. The drawing is by David Madden you can see more of his work here: http://www.locomotivedrawings.co.uk/

Claud 8783 Painting by Eddy Dodwell

We were very happy to receive a painting from Eddy Dodwell a couple of years ago. He donated the painting to the group with the intent for prints to be available to help raise funds.

Prints of "Getting her fit for the king" will be available to buy in the future.

As we know the cleaning process was very lengthy, the white roof was repainted before every use.

His other work also includes paintings for the Holden F5 group and NRM A4's See his website here: http://www.eddydodwell.co.uk/the%20artist%20eddy%20dodwell%20transport.php

Hello everyone.

We hope all has been well since our last posting.
Just to keep you up to date on current events. We have started the process of getting a quote for the frames. The CAD work is getting on well with our new member working very hard. We are glad to have someone with his experience and links, helping us in this project.

Another thank you to The Martin Hoyle Collection for the use of these photos. Restored and Remastered.
